The College Planning Conference for Parents and Guardians

This year, 2023, we are excited to offer the “Families Creating a Pathway to Pay for College: Interests, Talents, and Community Involvement” Seminar at the Greater Dover Boys & Girls Club in the state of Delaware on May 6. This one-day, yearly conference offers a broad range of interactive workshops covering a variety of topics — presented by well-selected groups of college planners, counselors, and financial aid experts.

Scholarships are awarded to the high school students and current college students of conference attendees, courtesy of participating businesses and individual donors. To be considered for one of these scholarships, please fill out an application form.

OUR MISSION

To provide parents and guardians with the resources to plan, organize, and help their children navigate through the college planning process.

How We Run Our Conference

We believe that parents make the difference in their children’s motivation and interest in attending and graduating from college.
Once parents/guardians arrive at the conference, they are treated like important guests – receiving breakfast and lunch, a chance to visit with exhibitors and conference sponsors, win raffle prizes and  attend college planning workshops.
